How To Analyze People On Sight | GreatestAudioBooks
by Elsie Lincoln Benedict & Ralph Pain Benedict – Human Analysis, Psychology, Body Language – In this popular American book from the 1920s, “self-help” author Elsie Lincoln Benedict makes pseudo-scientific claims of Human Analysis, proposing that all humans fit into specific five sub-types. Supposedly based on evolutionary theory, it is claimed that distinctive traits can be foretold through analysis of outward appearance. While not considered to be a serious work by the scientific community, “How To Analyze People On Sight” makes for an entertaining read.

  1. If you are reading this, I hope that day comes real soon where your wildest dreams come true. Where you finaly feel that you are at peace with yourself and your surroundings. May your life be full of joy, strength, light, and ease. May you lead a life full of positivity love accomplishment and greatness. You got this !!! Its going more and more better in the here and now !!! Peace

  2. I don't like the stuff they say about the fats (I'm not a fat), book's arguments are very sharp and doomed to be falsified by the practical observations which is totally normal and scientific by the way.

  3. Comparing humans with dogs, cars, bicycles…absolutely the same as nazis were categorizing people in sheep and wolf, hunters and peasants….If you didn’t learn that appearances are nothing, then you have quite serious problems in todays world!

  4. Interesting concepts here. Though frankly, found the narrator of thoracic chapter hard to understand. Especially when it comes to those ‘assets’.

  5. well, I was reading this book until I reached a chapter where I can tell they chose to record someone with a strong accent. And I may dare say that clearly that is not an person on whose english is not first language. I got distracted by the difference in speech rhythm. I couldn’t continue being interested because I couldn’t understand everything. I point at this saying English is not my first language. It sort of bothers me they decided to do so.
