Bitcoin narrative in regards to Bitcoin not being a permission-based system has a big hole in it.

At the end of the day, you still need permission from the banking systems and the governments that control and regulate them, and their fiat based on/off ramps, to be able to transact in the value that is stored within the Bitcoin system, in the real world.

So it still is a "permissioned" system.

As long as we still pay taxes and purchase goods and services in fiat.

And Bitcoin is still a very long way off from replacing the dollar, or fiat, as a payment layer.
As long as we still need banks and their fiat to transact in the value stored in Bitcoin, Bitcoin still has a huge weakness.

POMP. You are doing great things. Could you please do a show where you get a mom and pop and talk them slowly through this. Then do the same for school / college kids.
People need to see people like them to listen.
SO IMPORTANT.

I appreciate this interview, however it is so convoluted with long sentences and word stumbles on both the questioner and responder sides. I wish I could find a simplistic video that explains this concept in a way that I can share with my fun-loving, pot-smoking, non-technical, negativity-averse 23 y.o. niece who thinks that the words “economic crash” don’t apply to her.

I also never heard answers to the questions because they were so twisty? For instance, the question was asked: ‘What can our listeners do to combat inflation?’ The answer – ?? Sort of sounded like, ‘well, what is inflation?’, and, ‘you have to remember that our system has trained us to believe that we need hidden inflation’, but ‘if we don’t have inflation the market will crash’, ‘if you buy a house you’re expecting it to go up in value but, er, you’re still operating within the same system’. But, I never heard the answer… I’m assuming the answer is Bitcoin?

Also, there were other confusing comments such as “crypto transactions are completely free” which has not been my experience. I am pro-crypto, and I completely believe that fiat is in a crisis stage, I just have yet to find user-friendly discourse to share wit family and friends without them thinking I’m batshit crazy screaming that the sky is falling.

Will definitely get the book…

The stock market has been a really tough one this past year, but I watched an interview on CNBC where the anchor kept mentioning "Tamara Diane Hagan". This prompted me to get in touch with her, and from May 2021 till now we have been working together, and I can now boast of $540,000 in my trading portfolio.

Great stuff that has fascinated this 81 year old in UK. I am so thrilled about what is happening in El Salvador for "ordinary people" who really should support their amazing, brave President.

I see in the future the major credit cards being the final aggregate and destination of Bitcoin as they accept Bitcoin as payments and overlap the crypto exchanges. Rather than wait for an hour to pay for groceries and ice-cream melts you just pay with Bitcoin 12 times a year, and the credit card system process transactions faster. Few merchants care about getting paid in Bitcoin and by the time that becomes the majority then people will follow Gresham's Law and hoard it rather than spend it. As the pensions and hedge funds and nations just adopt Bitcoin onto their asset books and mainline the miners the exchanges will dry up. Would you sell a future opportunity of a block of digital "Manhattan" just to buy random stuff and do errands?
