The less I want, the more I have.
I grew up poor. Just to have and maintain the basics was a huge source of stress and anxiety. I feel rich now because I can provide the basic plus extra comfort for my family. My children doesn’t have to grow up with the stress and anxiety I had to. I’m always saving and investing. It helps me feel a sense of security which makes me feel rich.
I would add giving charity regularly! Nothing like giving away money to those less fortunate to make you feel rich. It doesn’t have to be much, but it helps if it’s regular.
My god. We have the same power colors. Haha
If you have anxiety and depression, it's difficult to feel rich even if you have money, because often you don't feel like you are in control and have enough time & energy to enjoy life.
I loved this video
This is so nice
Does talking with your hands make you feel rich too?

please please please don't bath your cat! you destroy their immune system! they are perfectly able to clean themselves.
beautiful!! what a beautiful caring subject to present!!!!

I really felt a number of these things were things you just had to start doing to "adult, " but perhaps I was just a very practical 18 year old. I realized very quickly when I started post secondary that it was very bad to not have quick access to matching socks and keys when running out the door to schooling that you chose and paid for.
I know someone who lives on about 10% of his income.
My own 9 ideas:
1. Using nice dishes
2. Drinking loose tea even if I'm alone
3. Wearing clean and pressed clothes and clean shoes
4. Sewing my own clothes
5. Using a fountain pen with bottled ink (sounds expensive, but it doesn't have to be)
6. Using low-waste options (natural bar soap, safety razor, fresh food, etc)
7. Indulging in some non-digital hobby (sewing, reading real books, drawing, playing music, etc)
8. Connecting with nature (even if it's a park or a botanical garden in the city) and having picnics
9. Looking after my work environment (our office doesn't get deep cleaned as often as it should be)
Vacuum daily….LOL.
I am really liking that gallery wall behind you. Where did you get your art?
I walk around the Upper East Side in NYC or Beverly Hills in Cali to feel rich, or to feel poor by comparison.
Something about the practice gratitude bit really hit me. I take much more pleasure in my personal hygiene routine when I relish in my sudsy body washes, silky lotions and nice smelling perfumes. Being thankful for the small physical, and overall mood lifting pleasures that they give me, make me feel like a princess.
Thank you for reminding me to put this back into my routine.
Love these tips, very helpful 😀
The algoritm is actually doing me pretty good today
I really appreciate these tips. What I got from the video was that you can "feel rich" by trying to use your time or what money you do have to reduce stress in your life and that although money is a tool you can use to reduce stress, having money does not guarantee that you'll actually do that.
You ARE SO WRONG ABOUT COLOR THEORY. IT IS VERY CURRENT, POPULAR & HELPFUL
You need to learn how to sound less preachy, less monotonous
Thanks so much for this content.
I gave up on keeping my place clean. It just takes way too much effort.
Thank you, this changed my life. Money is not just dollars, it's your goals,
So much conflating having a high income with being wealthy. Not the same thing at all.
Chelsea has ADHD.
Most of these tips just seem to increase your workload or make it less flexible. E.g. I never make my bed at all and I just leave my dishes lying around and do them when I have time. People criticize me for this but I think they are philistines. The same with wardrobe etc. I think having to search something sometimes is more effort than keeping an absolute strict order. Also "Fully stock home supplies before you need them" is only possible if you have a lot of space. So you probably would have to rent a bigger apartment and pay more rent, which I don't think makes you feel rich.
I was just getting my TFD fix while straightening my hair (it's long and curly so it takes forever) and I ended on this one. I love reading the website, and the videos are so great too! Thanks, Chelsea and everyone else at TFD!
The intro & first few minutes. I immediately subscribed!
I always try to wash as many of the dishes as I can before I eat too! It’s nice to finish eating and come back to a clean kitchen and only a pan and serving/cooking spoons
wow I to live in a projective future all the time. you should do a video on how to avoid it!
Want to feel poor. Have children. They are expensive as h3ll..
I first felt rich when I realized I could use money to solve problems.
In particular, one time we were running late to the airport. We had intended to park in long-term parking, but doing so required parking far away from the terminal, waiting forever for a shuttle that made a zillion stops, etc. We just didn't have time for that. We realized that we could still make it if we parked right in front of the terminal in short-term parking. We knew doing so would cost a few hundred dollars. But it was worth not missing our flight, so we did it. We used money to solve a problem. At a different time in our lives this would have been inconceivable, but now it was not a huge deal. And that's when we realized we were rich.
This doesn't apply to every income, but that's my number one.
Sorry yours colors are "no=colors" . Invisible
Interesting title but little content until very very far into video
..had to put this at 2x speed
